SwiftCommmunity Requirements

Webbuilders Group offers hosting packages for all of our SwiftCommunity tools. For information on hosting your SwiftCommunity website contact us here. As an alternative you may also use SwiftCommunity on your own web server/hosting packaging permitting it meets the minimum requirements.

Web Server Software Requirements:

PHP

• PHP 5.2.0+
• Required modules: dom, gd2, hash, iconv, mbstring, mysql (or other database driver), session, simplexml, tokenizer, xml.

Database

• MySQL 5.0+
• PostgreSQL 8.3+
• SQL Server 2008

Web Server Products

• Apache 1.3+ with mod_rewrite and "AllowOverride All" set
• IIS 5.X+

Operating System

• Linux/Unix/BSD
• Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2
• Mac OSX 10.4+

Hardware

• Hardware can vary greatly depending on the amount of traffic to your SwiftCommunity site.
