When I looked up my company website using my phone, it took forever to find my way around the site. Is there any way I can fix this?

Hi George,

As you came to discover yourself, the experience of viewing a website on a laptop/desktop computer vs viewing it on your phone is very different. What works on a 19" monitor does not work on a 3.5 inch screen, but there is a solution to this problem George.

The solution is to create a mobile site that uses it's own design that suites smaller screens and eliminates unneeded images to help increase viewing speed. The idea being, you present the same content as your main website, but deliver it in a different viewing experience. There are many ways to approach this, our main solution is using the SilverStripe Content Management System and taking advantage of the mobile module.

The mobile module detects if a user is using a mobile device and automatically serves them a different design. This gives the site owner the advantage of only managing one site while catering to multiple users.
