Sawlor Custom Built Homes, a well established builder of quality homes in Nova Scotia came to us to reposition their web presence.

One of Sawlor's key competitive advantages is the partnering relationship it builds with its clients. Our challenge was to leverage this strength through their website. How did we do it?

the solution

Built using the SilverStripe CMS, we used two key modules developed by our programmers, as well as a special "page type" to capture Sawlors relationship building online.

1. Ask the Expert:

The Ask the Expert modual allows a user to fill out an easy to use question form. When submitted, an expert at Sawlor is notified by email. The expert then logs into the administrative section of the website to answer the question and then published both the question and the answer live on the site. This Q & A process acts as an incredible means to build trust and to help generate new relationships.

2. SwiftCollab:

SwiftCollab is designed to allow private, secure correspondance between Sawlor and its customers who are in the process of having their home built. Sawlor's clients can use the secure login to ask questions, review documents/images, and view a record of conversions. Sawlor administrators can answer questions posted by clients, send them updates, change orders, or even post documents such as pdfs and work-in-progress images.

Sawlor administrators can post client testimonials for prospective new customers to view and gain confidence in "the Sawlor experience".
