Homeward Inns of Canada

HomePage shows the latest blog posts, a static map and links to user reviews. Online Booking is available on every page through a lightbox popup. We added an easy to use contact form - a feature missing in the old site. Photos can be added through the CMS. Each image can be viewed in a larger lightbox view. The blog lets the Homeward Inns communicate to their web visitors on a regular basis.

the challenge

Redesign the Homeward Inns of Canada website with a modern, interactive look while also making it easier for visitors to book a room and contact the facility.

the solution

We started of by creating a fresh new design for the Homeward Inns website. Through the design we ensured 3 important items.

1. Visitors could easily book a room at any time during their browsing experience. We accomplished this by adding a prominent "book a room" button on every page of the website. Clicking the button will show the book a room form in a lightbox popup.

2. Visitors could easily contact or find contact info - We accomplished this by placing the phone number at the top right of the web site, placing a google map on the homepage and by adding a contact us form.

3. There was lots of opportunity for the owners to present current, engaging content. We programmmed an editable image carousel on the home page so photos can now reflect different travel seasons throughout the year. We also added a blog to the website.  This gave our client a means of communicating specials, deals, or general news happening in the community, adding a personal touch to the website. Links to social media / peer review sites are now displayed prominently.
