WEBBUILDERS IS MOVING!

View original newsletter

We are relocating our main office effective December 1st. Luckily for us it isn't too far. For our local customers you will find us at 133A Provost Street New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, just two doors down from our current location. For all our customers who live a little further away, relax. We’re taking the phones and computers with us so you can still reach us at the same 1-800 number and email address.

We're all very excited about the move. RobM gets a new office, EdC gets a window view and RyanM finally gets a chair. A fresh new environment to keep the creative juices flowing. And while we were cleaning out the basement we found some unused websites, so keep your eyes peeled for our

Pre-Moving Inventory sale. “ALL WEBSITES MUST GO!”

Just kidding. For any of your customers who host with us, you won't have to worry about any downtime on their sites. That's all handled on dedicated secure and redundent servers away from our main office.

In other news, we're rolling out a brand new Webbuilders' website - a fresh new look to go with our fresh new office. We will have a larger focus on blogging on our new site. We love what we do and we want to share that with our friends and customers. We also want to help you stay on top of the latest web trends. So check our blog often, or better yet, join our subscriber list.

And just so it's not all about us, we have a very interesting article to pass on:

“Expedia on how one exta data field can cost $12 million”

Using analytic software (correctly) and studying how visitors were using their website, Expedia concluded that buyers were being confused by a single entry field in their Buy Now form. When Expedia changed this one field to reflect what the customer expected to see, sales soared. Expedia executives attribute a $12 million profit increase to this one small edit on their website. This example demonstrates how important user experience is on a website. Websites are not just about looking great, but working effectively. That's why we at Webbuilders try to work one-on-one with all our design partners. To help you achieve maximium impact for your client. You've heard us say it before. You are the rock star. We're just your roadie, making sure eveything behind the scenes is going right.

We are Webbuilders Group and we help companies acheive better results from the internet.
